I’m so glad you’re here.
I am an experienced therapist specializing in ADHD, Anxiety, and Couples Counseling. I work with couples in traditional/monogamous relationships, and those in ethically non-monogamous/polyamorous relationships. I create a non-judgmental space where you have the support you need to be honest with yourself, make sustainable changes, and gather some new skills. I provide in-person and telehealth (video call) sessions in Reno, and telehealth counseling to clients anywhere in Nevada or California.
I’ve been working in mental health since 2012. In that time, I’ve come to believe that there are lots of valid and “right” ways to lead a healthy life. That said, we all experience seasons where we can use some extra support and perspective. As a therapist, I’m going to be a good fit for clients who are seeking accountability, evidence-based tools, education, and insight. My clients would describe me as straight-forward, but gentle, very excited about explaining the neuroscience of how and why your brain is doing what it’s doing, and peppering in a little humor. I am a part of the LGBTQ+ community, and have a long history of working with families, individuals who have trauma histories, and people who are neurodivergent.
I was born and raised in Ventura, California. I spent nearly a decade living and working in mental and behavioral health in Arcata, California, and have been living and practicing psychotherapy in Reno, Nevada since 2019. I am fully licensed in both Nevada and California. I earned my Bachelor’s in Psychology in 2012, and completed my Master’s in Counseling Psychology in 2016 at Cal Poly University, Humboldt.
In my personal life, I’m pretty active. If I’m not in the office, I’m probably off in the mountains. I’ve been climbing for 14+ years, and incorporate the great outdoors in my own self care practice. On my mellower days, I love gardening, baking, and scoring a good vintage find in a thrift store.
